You need to focus intensely on the other person, understand what they are missing, and what they are disappointed by.
People will often give clues in subtle ways, such as gesture, tone of voice, or a look in the eye.
By appearing to them as the thing that they are lacking; you fit their ideal.
The effort is in the patience and attention to detail. Most people don’t really think much about others; they are totally wrapped up in their own desires, disappointments, and feelings. They are not capable of fulfilling The Ideal Lover role.
